Hope they don't charge you an arm and a leg. posted by: oik (reply) post date: 01.07.04 (12:07 pm) you could always employ a removal man who rides a bicycle :~} posted by: Andaloo (reply) post date: 01.07.04 (12:13 pm) Hello you! Where've you been? posted by: flaring (reply) post date: 01.07.04 (3:44 pm) A friend of mine has a friend in England who bought a 600 year old stone house. They decided to have the bedroom upstairs but when they tried to get the mattress up the stairs it wouldn't fit around the teeny tiny curvey staircase. They ended up having to remove one of the windows from the 2nd floor (sorry--1st floor) and haul the mattress in with a rope, much to the amusement of their new neighbors. Do they have something like U-Haul in Spain? posted by: Andaloo (reply) post date: 01.07.04 (10:38 pm) Reply to: flaring I don't know what U-Haul is. (Some kind of do-it-yourself removals?) posted by: lynne (reply) post date: 01.08.04 (7:38 am) Yeah. U-haul has been great whenever I have moved. They have everything. OH man, that street looks so narrow but sooooo charming. Just think, once you move in, you may never want to move out :) posted by: SusanofPudlin (reply) post date: 01.10.04 (2:49 pm) Maybe you should look in the telephone directory under Mule - Haul and rent a pack animule to do the move! IF you find that there is no local Mule - Haul, you could have the business opportunity of a lifetime! BTW - where are you moving to? |
