Also, I think it needs a wan face at a window, preferably one of the upper windows. posted by: flaring (reply) post date: 01.10.05 (4:04 am) Yes, a wan face with a flickering of candlelight. *Or* colorful banners hanging and penants flying. With trumpets. Actually what's truly amazing to me is that you call this structure a "house". Not a little castle, not a fairy-tale tower, not an monument breathing stories of heros and princesses and unrequited love: a house! It looks like it has electricity: are they selling it? posted by: Andaloo (reply) post date: 01.10.05 (4:35 am) Reply to: flaring Maybe I could run it through Photoshop and put the wan face up there. As soon as I saw the pic I knew I wanted to change it grey scale. I was going to blot out the power line, but decided keeping it in made it look more spooky. So yes, it has got power, but no I don't think it's for sale. From what I could see it's very much lived in. posted by: Mimi (reply) post date: 01.10.05 (5:04 am) but, lived in by whoooommm! i see glorious, billowing skirts of tafetta and silk and long, silky hair wafting in and out of view! xoxox great photo! posted by: Andaloo (reply) post date: 01.10.05 (6:02 am) Reply to: Mimi Oh Mimi I hate to tell you this, but there was a surf board propped up outside the front door. Maybe La Señora de la Casa goes surfing in her ball gown, in which case we can forget long silky hair! posted by: TorryGirl (reply) post date: 01.10.05 (1:30 pm) Ooooh! Spooky! It's the kind of photo that should have come out with a mysterious bright spot somewhere on it - from strange unknown forces, of course! posted by: NurseNancy (reply) post date: 01.11.05 (1:30 pm) Nice pic. the grey tones gives it a surreal and spooky quality! posted by: lynne (reply) post date: 01.11.05 (4:46 pm) I could sure use a place like that where I could roam the halls while letting out tragic sighs. *sigh* posted by: SilentScream (reply) post date: 01.17.05 (7:16 am) Reply to: Andaloo Maybe it's the Senor de la Casa that has the long flowing hair as he surfs? |
