And the little boy and his mother come from the universe where 4 comes after 3. No wonder the little boy is upset. It's all too confusing. posted by: SusanofPudlin (reply) post date: 10.14.04 (8:50 am) Ahhh! To be of an age where things like 17 and 4 could break your heart. Getting older means being able to laugh at the things that once broke your heart. Do you know why six is afraid of seven? Because Seven Eight Nine. posted by: lynne (reply) post date: 10.14.04 (9:01 am) Thankyou. That was a really charming story. I am just sitting here with a big stupid grin on my face from reading it. posted by: Mimi (reply) post date: 10.14.04 (9:42 am) and i hate miss "whatever her name was, because she failed my book report because she said i spelled "huney" wrong! she does not know Winnie the POoh!!!! posted by: Andaloo (reply) post date: 10.14.04 (10:36 am) Reply to: SusanofPudlin Ohhh are we back on bad jokes? Since when did 17 NOT come after 3??? I demand an inquiry! Oh and... Dear Susan and Andaloo... I thought *my* jokes were bad. **shakes head and sticks fingers in ears. No more! No more! lol posted by: NurseNancy (reply) post date: 10.14.04 (7:22 pm) very cute story! my daughter would ask if she could have "just sebentyeleben friends over" I never knew how many that was, because usually only 2 or 3 would show up! posted by: librarianguish (reply) post date: 10.14.04 (9:22 pm) Children are so cute! Hey - I answered your black sand question (kind of). !! posted by: TorryGirl (reply) post date: 10.15.04 (2:48 am) Nothing can make you smile like the things that little kids say! When my cousin was 5 she spent a good hour looking around the house trying to find the ducks. It turns out her mother had told her they had heating ducts in the house. posted by: VodkaB (reply) post date: 10.20.04 (2:23 pm) Did you know 5 + 5 = 7? or even 5 + 5 = 2? :) <- correction to the second calculation. the answer should be 4. if you hold up the number 5 in a mirror..it becomes two. *grin* 5 + 5(2) = 7. and 2 5's reversed become 4. *nods* fun. posted by: Andaloo (reply) post date: 10.20.04 (3:42 pm) Reply to: VodkaB I was hoping you were going to tell me. Come on...spill the beans.... posted by: VodkaB (reply) post date: 10.21.04 (9:37 am) yikes! i did type the answer out..it didn't appear. darn anyway...the second calculation should equal to 4. i made a slight error in the last one. apologies so: 5 + 5 = 7 or even 5 + 5 = 4. when you reflect a 5 in the mirror, it becomes 2. *grin* 5 + 5(2) = 7. or 2 5's reflected equal 4! okay so its cheating..but it does give things a new twist *grin* |
