Thanks to a dear friend I can now impose music on you too.

At the moment I'm listening a lot to "Curandero", described as " flamenco guitar meets Indian tabla". (Hit the gizmo on the right)

Thank you again Lindy for all your help.

It will come to no surprise at all to Lindy that I am having trouble making your gizmo work. If the tech goddess herself happens to stumble upon this comment, perhaps she could find it within herself to assist me in my feeble attempt to be as modern and hip as she is. *wink*

In the meantime, I giggled heartily while reading your 2CV story. As riddled with foibles, as that car appears to have been, imagine how many smiles you've enjoyed and given to others in the sheer sharing of such stories. You're right, of course, it's probably because I've never ridden in one that I find the very notion of such an automobile to be absolutely fabulous. Nonetheless, I must admit, I *do* find it fabulous. :)

If I still had that car I'd wrap it up and send it to you.

Hmm I thought uploading the gizmo was a bit too easy. Looks like I'll be knocking on the door of the High Priestess of gizmoism once again.

I rather like the idea of receiving your little motorized trouble maker all wrapped up in a big bow. :)

As for the gizmo and her majesty... I'm sure she'll find the problem is on my end. Like the car in question, my computer is more than a little quirky/irritating -- depending on your point of view. :)

Donde esta el gizmo? Not only can I not make it work, I can't even *see* it to click on it. What does it look like?

Oh my goodness, Andaloo. This is lovely music. Though you described it perfectly, I'm listening to it over and over and finding it difficult to fit it into any category I've ever heard before. It feels quite... fluttery and beautiful, festive. Definitely the kind of music I'd want to listen to softly, while floating slowly down the river on a comfortable boat, hanging out with close friends... candles lit, colored lanterns hanging, food passing around, jokes popping up occassionally, stories being told, memories being shared... it's just really lovely.

Don't mind Juni. She'll never be able to hear it thanks to that Brantosaurus she calls a computer. Any hint of animation is enough to set her in a tailspin, but music? Fuhgetaboutit!

I'll confer with the Bear to see what's going on... it's a shame that he can't see it, but then, the same thing happened with my work computer. Probably a browser issue, though I seem to remember something similar coming up with him before and it proved quite a mystery to both of us. Oh well. This is a pretty standard Windows based player. Hopefully, others won't have issues with it. I'll get to work on other options. :)

And I'll stop clicking 'play' so others will have a chance to hear. :)))))

Apparently *someone* has forgotten that saying ugly things about my computer doesn't help matters. It's very sensitive. Besides, I like to think that by keeping it around I'm doing my bit to combat age descrimination. *wink*

~~~~~
Andaloo... forgive me. I'll be certain to take up any further discussion I may have with the PC Princess elsewhere. *smile*
I don't want you to think you might be missing out on anything here, soooo...the music goes like this; *cough* La la la, mm, mm, LAAAAAA, strum (tap, tap)...Obviously I can't do it full justice, but it gives you an idea.
Buwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!
I'm clutching my sides with imagining Andaloo doing his rendition for you...
As for your computer... in keeping with my habit of apologizing when I make a horse's patoo out of myself...
I prostrate myself before you and your devoted mechanical companion (oi!) as my expressed thoughts were indeed put in such a way that would be found offensive to the tried and true little trooper that it has proven to be... Ageism is indeed reprehensible and should be erradicated with efficiency, starting with my own ignorant example. Please accept my best wishes for your computer's continued health and happiness. (And give it a pat and a rub for me)
How on earth did someone as technologically inept as myself ever come to be known as the PC Princess?!?! Something is very wrong with this picture. Apparently, my mouth is doing some talkin' that my fingers ain't walkin'...
It ought to be just below where it says "is that a scroll in your toga, or are you just pleased to see me?"
OK who's had the gizmo?
Aha! Found the problem. For whatever reason (presumably because it's windows media player) it will not display in Firefox, which is my default browser. I trreid your blog in IE and it worked there.
Still, after listening to it once, I shan't be able to enjoy it again because I refuse to switch back to IE. It would be like trading in a thoroughbred for a donkey.
Why thank you, kind sir! I've waited my entire life to be serenaded by a (transplanted) Spaniard.
~~~~~~

Note to self: Always pretend to be technologically inept so that Andaloo will be forced to perform all manner of media clips. :)

*wink*
