I know I said no more about weddings, but...

I watched "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" again at the weekend. I'm with the Greeks, what IS a "bunt"?

It is a Bundt cake - made in tube shaped Bundt cake pan. Very moist, sometimes has a tunnel of chocolate throughout.

Hello you...long time no speak!
I thought it was interesting that the Spanish DVD I bought had the word "fat" taken out of the title. "My Big Greek Wedding" doesn't have the same ring to it somehow.

I know what a bunt is, but I didn't see the movie so I don't know the context. If it's a bundt cake, then it's irrelevant.

In baseball, a bunt is an act by a batter in which he (or she) meets the ball with the bat without applying force from the swing at the moment that the ball contacts the bat.

I have no idea if this has anything to do with the movie or not. I also have no idea what a leg bye is or what silly mid on is all about, and I have no idea if the idea of a bunt makes sense to you. But bunt is used in analogies, so if it were used in a sentence, it might have made perfect sense.

I just hope it was a cake.

I realise now that I misspelt the word...it's actually "bundt" (thank you SofP), and yes I now know its a cake.

Watch the movie, its really good fun!

As for all this sporty stuff, I only know the silly midrift rule (possibly cricket).

Sorry you missed the bundt class, but if it's chocolate you're after...come in.
