No sooner have we had time to get over the excitement of Eurovision 2004 (won by Eukraine with a song reminiscent of horny Neanderthals…thankfully I slept through most of the show), and it’s time for another Royal wedding. It’s our turn this week (I was disappointed last week that the Australian woman who married into the Norwegian royal family wasn’t called Kylie…wouldn’t “Princess Kylie” be the coolest thing this year!! We’re all royal weddinged out here with all the preparations for Crown Prince Felipe to marry Letizia the news reader. OK forget Princess Kylie, Queen Letizia is pretty cool too. Even better, wouldn’t it be fantastic if she decided to keep her job after marrying! The mind boggles. One thing bothers me though, I wonder if Doña Letizia has noticed the family trait evident in the offspring of Felipe’s two younger sisters? Instead of hair these kids have got little “Brillo Pads” sat on their heads. It’s obviously a throw-back thing because both King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia are follically challenged. I’m sure our favourite news reader would be having second thoughts if only she realised what’s in store.

Ah Royal Weddings. What fun :) For the spectators of course. I dont know how much fun it is for the Royals with everyone all up in their business all the time but that is their problem ;)
